The International Baking Industry Exposition will take place September 26-29, 2010 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. More than 700 exhibitors will display the full range of equipment and solutions in 500,000 net square feet of exhibitor space. The show is expected to draw over 15,000 baking professionals.

>> Who attends IBIE?
Participants represent the entire industry including wholesale bakery plants; retail outlets; in-house supermarkets; catering companies; restaurants/hotels; and artisan bakeries.
>> Can anyone attend the show? Do you have to be in the baking industry?
You do not have to be in the baking industry to attend IBIE 2010. All attendees are subject to the registration fee. If you are not in the industry, please select the “Allied/Other” registration category when you register.
>> I am coming from overseas, how do I get a letter of invitation to obtain a visa?
If you are an international registrant, you will automatically receive a link to request an invitation letter for a visa as well as delivery options for receiving the letter. You can also call IBIE 2010 customer service 708-486-0719 or 877-303-0719 to request a visa letter.
>> What is the dress/attire?
The dress code varies from business attire to casual based on the business you plan to conduct at the show. Shirt and shoes are required; comfortable, covered shoes are recommended.
>> Can I take pictures at the tradeshow?
Cameras are strictly prohibited on the show floor. Exceptions are made for authorized members of the media. Camera passes for media members are available in the Media Information Center at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
>> What if I forget or lose my badge during the IBIE show?
Please come to the Badge Corrections counter in the Registration Area at the Convention Center. After your badge has been printed, any lost or forgotten badges will be charged a lost badge fee of $25.00.
>> Are children and strollers permitted in the exhibit halls?
We regret that absolutely no children 12 years of age and younger are permitted on the exhibit floor. This includes infants in strollers. This rule will be strictly enforced by IBIE Management for safety and insurance purposes.
>> How can I get a show directory?
Show directories are available on-site for all attendees. They can be found in bins in various locations in the convention center. Click here fore a current list of exhibitors.
>> Does the Convention Center offer assistance for visitors with disabilities?
If you have any special needs, there is an opportunity on the registration form to provide any special needs information, or you can call Kelly Kotche at (202) 789-0300 or e-mail at kkotche@americanbakers.org. IBIE will do everything possible to assist you.

Requests for wheelchair and scooter rentals can be made through FedEx Office located in the Grand Lobby (Central Hall) and the South Hall Lobby. Please contact FedEx Office at 702-943-6780 for more information.
>> Automatic Doors:
Automatic doors have been installed at both facilities at the most frequently used entrances for our disabled visitors.
>> TDDs
TDDs (Telecommunications Device for the Deaf) are permanently installed at various pay phone locations throughout both the Convention Center. Directional signs are posted at every bank of pay phones, or see the Accessibility Map of each facility for their location.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION
>> How do I register?
You can register online by clicking here. Or you can print out a registration form, fill it out and mail or fax it. On-site registration will be available at a higher fee.
>> Multiple Registrations:
The IBIE registration website allows multiple registrations at one time. Additional registrations can be completed at the Review Information Section - click on “Add Another Registrant.” Spouses and guests can be added at the same time as each registrant; he/she will receive the same credentials as the registrant. Anyone registering who is active in the business or has different business credentials, should register independently with either the “baker” or “allied/other” registration type.
>> How can I register if I don't have a computer?

>> Is there a phone number if I have questions about registration?

>> Will I receive my badges before the show?
Badges will not be mailed prior to the event and will need to be picked up at the show. Please bring your confirmation with you to an Express Badge Pick-Up station on-site where your badge will be generated. Badge holders can also be picked up at a Badge Holder Pick-Up station onsite at the convention center.
If you faxed your registration and did not provide an e-mail address, a confirmation will be mailed to you. If you do not receive your confirmation, call IBIE customer service. Also for faxed registrations, please bring your original registration or I.D. with you to the IBIE badge pick-up area.
>> Are students complimentary and what documentation do I need to show to retrieve my badge at the show?
Student badges are complimentary. Students must register using the hardcopy registration form or on-site. Please bring a student I.D. or other documentation that confirms you are a current student (i.e., the document should be dated in some way) to the Registration Desk on-site at the convention center to receive your complimentary badge.
>> Are press complimentary?
Yes, press must register using a hardcopy registration form or on-site. Credentials must be presented in the Media Information Center on-site to receive a complimentary registration.
>> How can I view, update or change my registration information?
You can update your registration information anytime before your badge is printed, by returning to the IBIE Registration homepage. Under “Already Registered,” enter your e-mail address and password to be taken to your registration “Dashboard.” Click the “edit” button under “Personal Information” to make changes to your record. You can also access your “Dashboard” from your confirmation. You can also use your dashboard to add education seminars. You can also use your e-mailed confirmation to access your dashboard.
>> If I have registered for IBIE but unexpectedly cannot attend, can I send someone in my place?
Yes. Call the help line at 708-486-0719 or 877-303-0719 and tell them to make the name replacement or make the name change to your registration at anytime by editing your record online using your IBIE registration dashboard.

>> What is your cancellation/refund policy?
A refund will be made ONLY if registration is cancelled by Friday, September 3, 2010. Refund requests must be in writing to Attn: IBIE via fax at (708) 344-4444 or mailed to P.O. Box 604, Brookfield, IL 60513-0604. After the cut-off date, refunds will be made at the discretion of IBIE.

For those in the tortilla industry, this annual conference will focus on operational skills, safety regulations, quality control, preventive maintenance, plant efficiency, and other important best practices. The TIA Technical Seminar will offer timely information and networking opportunities that allow participants to capitalize on the fastest growing segment of the baking industry.

Register the same way you would for IBIE. When you begin your registration, you can choose either IBIE only, or the TIA 2010 Technical Seminar. Everyone registered for the TIA 2010 Technical Seminar will also receive a badge to enter the IBIE 2010 tradeshow floor.
>> How much does the TIA 2010 Technical Seminar cost?
Cost of registration is $275 and this includes a registration badge for the IBIE show as well.
CORPORATE MEETING PROGRAM
>> What is the IBIE Corporate Meetings Program?
IBIE encourages companies to hold meetings in conjunction with the show. To arrange space at the Convention Center, please complete the Corporate Meeting Space Request Form.
